Sergiy Kovalenkov from Ukrainian company Hempire UA is one of the foremost experts in hemp-lime building with 15 years of experience. The house we will be learning to apply natural building materials to is a seminar center located in a remote village in south-west Bohemia near Klatovy. Two new rooms will be built into the attic.

Start: Friday 6 PM
Finish: Sunday 5 PM (with the possibility to stay until Monday 5 PM)
Workshop includes:
- Essential theoretical knowledge on techniques, costs and uses of hemp-lime
- Practical learning of building hemp-lime floors, walls and roof insulation
- Accommodation in 2-4 bedrooms on mattresses – bring your sleeping bag
- Relaxing evenings with sauna and hot-tub
Cost:
- € 250,- (Fri – Sun)
- € 200,- (Fri – Mon) if you stay the Monday helping us on the construction site practicing learned techniques
- plus your food contribution to the common kitchen where we will be preparing food together (we prefer to cook vegetarian which makes it easier to feed all of us)
